Wholefarms Market is a family business based on the traditional principles of quality, consistency, and service.

The first Wholefarms Market was opened in February 2020 by Charlie and his sons Alex and Nicolas Evripidou. Charlie has been in the fruit and vegetable industry for over 35 years.

Continuing their father’s legacy, co-owners Alex and Nicolas Evripidou run their family business by giving “hands-on” a literal meaning. The brothers handpick the freshest fruits and vegetables from the Sydney Markets daily. The goal has always been this: the product must reach their stores within 24 hours upon harvest.

Their Enfield and Milperra stores proudly feature an onsite deli and butchery, as well as shelves of Australian and continental groceries. The stores do not only aim to provide people of all backgrounds with the essentials they seek but to take them on a culinary adventure through the flavours of the globe showcased on their shelves.

Unlike any other supermarket, the family-operated business is mindfully aware that they cannot substitute quality. From sourcing from exclusive suppliers to delivering the items to their customers, their incredible team is consistent in making sure that they remain steadfast in providing the best products and services.

“We take our cues from nature to ensure our produce is always seasonal and sustainable,” says Nicolas. “We believe it’s good for your health, wallet, and the planet. We also have a number of waste strategies – including donating to local farms – that we implement to avoid spoilage,” he adds.

“Our pillars of service to the community are evidenced in our staff and customers, who are of different ethnic backgrounds and from different walks of life. We have regulars who come in and share their advice, recipes, and tips. It truly is a village-like experience at Wholefarms.”

Despite the enormous changes that continue to take place in both the produce industry and retail sector, Wholefarms remains devoted to continuing to reinvent itself without compromising its commitment to quality. As a result, it remains a truly loved addition to the local landscape.

You can follow Wholefarms Markets on @wholefarms on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok or head to their website on www.wholefarms.com.au.

Wholefarms is located at 479 Henry Lawson Dr, Milperra 2214 and 27 Mitchell Street, Enfield 2021
