Tolga Akcay, born in 1988 in Germany, is an entrepreneur with a wealth of experience behind him. Not only is he an excellent business consultant, an expert in the field of digitization, blockchain technology, as well as in artificial intelligence (AI); he is a published author as well, soon to release another series of books following the four he published so far. Mr. Akcay graduated with a degree in business administration before completing his master’s degree in corporate management. During his professional career, he continued his training in Germany and the USA, specializing in digitization, blockchain technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Currently, Mr. Akcay is active as a Business Consultant within the EU.
Mr. Akcay specialises in creating tailor-made solutions that lead businesses to success; he believes that sharing the knowledge that you have with others enriches all of us, so that is exactly what he does. Akcay has built an international network of over 200 companies and freelance experts who work directly in analysis, programming, enforcement and marketing. From this network, tailor-made teams are then put together in a way that gets everyone to their targets and goals more efficiently. This network is still growing and will continue to do so in the years to come.
Undoubtedly, one of Mr Akcay’s greatest achievements in his career was in founding the highly successful company Exvisa, a company dedicated to creating a tailor-made travel profile for those going abroad and offering them specific and highly detailed offers before they book their trip. Through his work within the company, thousands of visas and trips were arranged each day under Mr Akcay’s guidance as the company worked towards creating digital visas and passports for travellers. The company continued to grow into a huge success, using AI and blockchain technology and attracting attention from experts all across the world including the USA, Germany and India. Experts from all of these places and beyond were brought on board and the company began to make huge waves in the travel industry, with Exvisa being valued at 100 million euros and receiving over 30 million euros in investments before December 2019 so that it could be developed more.
The pandemic of 2020 saw entirely unforeseen bans on worldwide travel, a situation that was harmful to Exvisa’s entire industry in a way that no one saw coming. In such situations many company leaders would have, and did, admit defeat under such pressures; but that is what set Mr Akcay apart from the others. Only six months into the pandemic, Akcay had already reimbursed all investments received by Exvisa to the company’s investors – an amount totalling some 30 million euros – quite an achievement during times like these.
Even today, global travel is still not back to where it was at the beginning of 2020, before the pandemic began. To this day, companies especially in the travel industry are still feeling the impact from this and could be for quite some time. For this reason, it is incredibly impressive that Mr Akcay has taken full responsibility for his place in the company and has managed to reimburse all investments as well as making sure his employees have been taken care of during this time.
Mr Tolga Akcay works tirelessly as an entrepreneur and has ensured his own success through his efforts. Akcay is currently still successfully active in Business Consulting, advising global corporations through his consultancy work in the field of blockchain technology, artificial intelligence and digitization. He is no longer active in the company Exvisa, and has instead focused his efforts on sharing the knowledge he has gained and building his global team-building network using his vast expertise.
