Q: Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Lisa: Amid a tumultuous job market during the COVID-19 upheaval, I found solace and purpose in consulting. Juggling family responsibilities and seeking a job, I rediscovered the joy of brand marketing consulting. The flexibility, variety, and creative freedom it offered were invigorating. 

Helping clients tackle their most significant challenges, swiftly understanding their business needs, and devising actionable plans for tangible results are what truly inspire me. My passion is dedicated to propelling brands to success in highly competitive markets.

Q: What entrepreneurial tricks have you discovered to keep you focused and productive in your day-to-day busy schedule?

Lisa: Balancing a busy schedule as a Type A individual, I’ve found several tricks to enhance focus and productivity:

Q: How do you stay organized with such a busy schedule? What are some time management strategies, SOPS (standard operating procedures), hires, or hacks that have helped you dramatically in business?

Lisa: Prioritizing a structured yet flexible workday, I begin each week by setting objectives and planning my calendar on Sundays. My morning routine centers around home and family before immersing myself in work. I prioritize realistic goals and crucial tasks, emphasizing high-impact and revenue-generating activities. 

Email management, team connection, and addressing priorities fill my day while dedicated time for innovation and brainstorming ensures creativity. As the day concludes, I prepare for the next, outlining tasks and top priorities. Achieving work-life balance is vital – I spend quality time with family, unwinding at night to face the next day’s challenges.

Q: What is the most memorable thing you’ve done since you started your business?

Lisa: One of the most unforgettable experiences since the inception of my business has been the consistent thrill of seeing articles, podcasts, and interviews featuring myself and my company. The profound impact of such recognition has amplified my personal awareness and significantly broadened the reach of the services I provide. This highlights the essence of my journey – engaging in a passion that brings me fulfillment and delivers tangible value to businesses on a wider scale.

Q: What motivates you?

Lisa: Driven by a zest for life, my motivation stems from the warmth of family, joyous belly laughter, the thrill of having fun, the fulfillment derived from helping others, and the dynamic world of brand marketing. Together, these elements guide my journey with enthusiasm and purpose.

Q: What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?

Lisa: One of the most worthwhile investments I’ve made is in myself. Pursuing an MBA early in my career at Schwan’s opened doors, leading to a 55% salary increase and a Brand Manager role at ConAgra Brands. This move set the stage for a dynamic career with The Coca-Cola Company, Activision, and others. Another strategic move was joining Activision, a prominent gaming company. 

Despite starting at a lower title and pay, my journey resulted in rapid promotions and a 50% salary increase in the gaming industry. Investing in a career and life coach recently transformed my brand and career. 

The outcome? Over 1100% growth in social media followers, valuable consulting opportunities, business partnerships, and a significant presence in the industry, including hosting monthly LinkedIn and YouTube Livestream events and becoming a recurring guest on others.

Q: What key activities would you recommend entrepreneurs invest their time in?

Lisa: Entrepreneurs should prioritize self-investment across various dimensions: professional, personal, and relational. Devote time for skill development and continuous learning, enhancing your expertise. 

Prioritize your health through regular exercise, proper nutrition, and sufficient rest, as physical well-being underpins overall success. Cultivate meaningful relationships with family, friends, and colleagues, as strong connections contribute to emotional resilience and support. 

Remember, investing in yourself enriches your life and enhances your ability to positively impact others, both personally and professionally.
