Tara L. Prater: Redirect The Course Of Your Fitness Journey By Looking Inward Into Your Spirit

The mind is a very powerful tool in the human body. It can construct scenarios, emotions, and sensations to delude a person into believing something completely of its creation. The mix of a human brain and an external unpleasantness can delude a person into an unimaginable and vulnerable state, where hope seems to be an abstract concept. This is what happens with a person who develops eating disorders. These disorders and habits are merely coping mechanisms from a bigger and persistent problem.

The mind will trick you into eating even if you’re not hungry because it is the only way your brain is recommending to find some solace. Meanwhile, the real issue is neglected entirely. What happens is that when a person is not connected to his inner self the physical brain will keep on blinding the consciousness time and again. In simpler words, physical health including mental health and body fitness has a great connection to spiritual health. A person is prone to mental weakness in states of anguish and sorrow. In such a state, bad habits and disorders take over and it affects physical health as well.

In times like these, we need external support to redirect our mindsets by untangling the mental knots. Tara L. Prater is one such coach who has been empowering women through her Faith-Based Holistic Fitness Programs for over a long time. She has a 90% success rate so far since she has a personal experience with an eating disorder. Which has made her empathetic and highly understanding when it comes to such cases of women around the globe.

Tara has started her Holistic Health Program after completing her diploma in Integrative Health Practitioner (Level Two) in May 2020. The world was in complete chaos due to the pandemic and lockdown when she started empowering women by taking them out of their eating disorders and much more. She had realized earlier that the road to health is not only through exercises and diets but much more than that. It requires a strong connection with God as He provides the strength that one needs to confront the actual problems of life that push one to develop these disorders.

Tara describes her passion in such words, “I am most proud of the power to overcome emotional eating that women develop through true soul and faith searching.  We were not designed to have self-control.  God provides it to us when we cry out to Him. So giving my women this additional tool in their tool belt is incredibly powerful.”

She has been giving away Emotional Eating Bible Study in her intensive Holistic Health programs. It is purely meant to provide incredible faith-based insight to the client. Tara has found the key to getting rid of emotional eating through conversing with and opening up to God. A way to a more everlasting healing and enduring results.

Mostly the journey to wellness is made through emotional eating coaching but as an Integrative Health Practitioner, she utilizes  functional medicine labs  as an integral part of getting to the root causes of their issues.  The services are given one-on-one and also in small groups to the clients. Nor is she focused on physical healing alone but she also aims at the emotional healing of the client.
