Satpreet comes from the little hamlet of HarseChhina in the district of Amritsar, Punjab. Coming from a tiny hamlet, he never underestimated the importance of education and worked hard to obtain a degree because it is the first step toward success for many. He enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program with concentrations in Mathematics, Economics, and Computer Applications. After completing his undergraduate courses, he earned his Master of Computer Application degree from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar in 2005. He has also long served as the Director of the Ranjit Nagara Non-Profit Organization in Manteca, California. This group is dedicated to preserving historic sites for Sikhs to establish Gurdwaras—places where Sikhs can find God and have the strongest relationship with Him. This non-profit organization is run by volunteers who share the same aim of making the world a better place for everyone to live, where they may practice their faith freely. However, they are on a mission with their organization to eradicate poverty and offer basic necessities, particularly to minorities and communities touched by the catastrophe.

Lastly, Satpreet Singh is the author of ‘Restoration & Renovation of Abandoned Historical Places,’ in which he discusses Sikhism and its roots, as well as how repairing historic places is the way ahead. He bought and rebuilt a plot of land for Gurdwara JanamAsthan Mata Sahib Kaur Ji in Rohtas, Jhelum, Punjab, which was similarly abandoned after the partition.
