Samantha is a 17-year-old Martial Artist from Lino Lakes, Minnesota born in Maplewood on October 25, 2005. Samantha has been doing martial arts for 12 years. Within that time, Samantha has managed to achieve multiple titles, ranking all categories of Regional, National, and World. She has also attained the rank of 4th Dan blackbelt in Taekwondo. Back in 2021, she performed a bo staff routine on Season 1 of “Game of Talents France.”
This young notoriety of defense and martial arts has been recognized on TV, in front of millions across socials, and has even won notable tournaments. Samantha Mitling travels to compete not once, but TWICE a month. At the end of April, Samantha Mitling is travelling to Quebec, Canada to compete in a NASKA world tour event (Quebec Open). Samantha Mitling will also be going to the Battle of Atlanta and US Open (Orlando, FL.) in June and July.
The Diamond Nationals is by far Samantha Mitling’s best and said by herself, her favorite tournament. “It’s considered my “home turf” since it’slocated in Minneapolis” Samantha Mitling explains. Mitling has been attending this tournament since 2013. She explains that she really enjoys being able to watch and coach her local students at this national event. Since Samantha Mitling is still currently a junior, tournaments usually cannot pay her out prize money. However, Samantha Mitling is looking forward to starting her monetization in her adult division next year when she turns 18.
