Here we sit down with Dr Mansi, to know a bit more about her journey as a holistic nutritionist.

Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Dr. Mansi: When I was a kid, I used to ask my mom or dad for money to invest in the stall – where I would sell healthy sandwiches at food festivals and actually be profitable after paying my helpers and returning their principal. I would love the fact that everyone liked my handmade health foods and that’s where my passion for health, wellness & business started

I’ve always had an understanding of what business entails even at such young age; knowing the risks involved but also seeing the potential return on investment (ROI) well-which means paying off debts or giving back more than taken away in other words: taking care both parts by balancing spending against earning wisely).

The day I have a complete realization that I wanted to continue helping everyone through the expertise I have is when I’m approaching the end of my schooling I spent several months sleeping on a recliner couch dealing with massive stomach problems and bleeding ulcers. At that time, I realized that everything I was looking for was outside of the box that I was in aka “Big Pharma”. It is hard not having hope when big pharma promotes pharmaceuticals with such a bright future in sight but it seems like all hope has been lost as there’s no light at the end of this tunnel due to it being a band-aid approach because no drug can actually turn a gene expression on or off to heal the body. That’s when I started understanding functional ways of healing my body and was able to restore my health. It was at that time I realized that actual healing happens from holistic medicine and understanding how to nourish the body through nutrition & mindfulness. That gave me a whole new way of looking at medicine and I got certified as a functional and nutritional medicine practitioner which led to the launch of my practice in 2015 for the 6th element- A lifestyle medicine sanctuary.

Now being a doctor and understanding how business is done is the key to having a successful private practice.

Q. What are your long-term goals in business? Paint a vision for the future

Dr. Mansi: It was gut health that first got me interested in functional medicine. As someone who struggled with digestive issues for years, I was amazed by how much my life changed when I finally found a way to optimize my gut health. This sparked my passion to expand my horizons and also coach other healthcare providers to help their patients and eventually everyone gave me the gut health guru title. Now I get to speak around the globe about gut health and my unique methodology. It definitely feels like a dream come true, as I have always wanted to help others live healthy and happy.

My long-term goal is to help as many people as possible recover from their gut issues and also train other healthcare professionals on how they can be passionate about helping individuals live an optimized lifestyle. I know that if more people are educated about the importance of gut health, we can all work together to create a world where everyone feels their best!

Q. What motivates you?

Dr. Mansi: The medical profession is one that requires dedication and hard work, which many people choose to pursue because they have a calling in helping others. For some, it may be about an innate sense of compassion; while for others it’s their yearning for deeper research into medicine itself that guides them down this path. For me what really motivates me is my true calling to serve thousands of individuals with gut health issues and autoimmune disorders along with chronic pain and give them their quality of life back.

Q. What business-related book has inspired you the most, or, what is your favourite book?

Dr. Mansi: When I first read “Becoming Supernatural” by Joe Dispenza, I was amazed at how much damage I had done to my gut through neuronal pathways from past traumas. It was eye-opening to see how food can play such a huge role in our overall health and well-being. After reading the book, I knew it was time for me to take action and cleanse my gut of all the toxins.

After being diagnosed with a gut health issue, I was determined to find a way to heal my gut. I read book after book on the topic, looking for any shred of information that could help me. Finally, I came across two books that really helped me: Cancer Free with Foods by Liana Werner-Gray and Clean Gut by Alejandro Junger.

The recipes in Cancer Free with Foods were exactly what I needed to start healing my gut. And the tips in Clean Gut were invaluable in helping me understand how to heal my gut properly. Thanks to these two books, I was finally able to get my gut health back on track!

I recommend everyone to read these books

Q. What strategies do you use to optimize your performance or mindset?

Dr. Mansi: I have introduced to Brain Tap a few years ago and it has completely transformed my life. I use it every day to optimize my brain and it’s helped me become more creative and focused. I also do yoga, eat well, and go for workouts to help keep my mind and body healthy. I highly recommend Brain Tap to anyone looking for a way to improve their mental state and, I love spending time with my puppy Sage and going on long walks with her in the mountains and beaches.

I love eating fresh produce that’s in season and supporting local farmers so I go to the framers market every weekend in San Diego. It really feels great to eat fresh while supporting local small businesses.

Q. If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?

Dr. Mansi: It’s no secret that gut health is a hot topic these days. From leaky gut to candida overgrowth, there are plenty of challenges to contend with when it comes to our digestive system.

But what if I told you there was a guide available that could help you overcome all of these challenges? Well, there is! My leaky gut guide would be something I would like to give the world to combat modern-day gut health challenges.

The great thing about this guide is that it’s not just some theoretical overview – it’s based on my own personal experience overcoming leaky gut and other digestive issues. In fact, the guide covers everything from diet and lifestyle changes to supplements and herbs that can help improve your gut health.

Q. What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?

Dr. Mansi: Stem cell therapy is one of the best investments I’ve made because it not only helps with healing and optimizing gut health, but also boosts my immune system. Stimming cells are very important in helping to repair damage from detoxification or any other kind that occurs throughout our lives so we can stay healthy!

I recommend getting certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner if you want an alternative medical approach that will work for YOU instead of trying some common generic treatments like taking medications just for their side effects rather than focusing more heavily on what your body needs.

Q. Where do you see the future in your niche/industry 3-5 years from now?

Dr. Mansi: Functional & Nutritional medicine is the future of precision healthcare.

In today’s world, there are many ways to improve one’s health. One such way that has been gaining popularity in recent years is functional (FXN) and nutritional (NGX) medicine. This type of treatment focuses on addressing the underlying causes instead medical symptoms which will lead you down a more fulfilling path towards true healing with fewer side effects or complications from previous treatments while also preventing new ones from emerging later down this line.

Q. What is your ‘one-sentence’ piece of advice you’d like to give to someone who wants to become an entrepreneur, coach, or business owner?

Dr. Mansi:  Being the product of the product is really important to be successful as a coach. I would say you only fail if you quit, as long as you keep going. Some ways are to keep sharpening your assets, which are your brain and body through having a healthy lifestyle. Keeping your vision in line with what you do, be patient, and have proper investment strategies on hand because that’s where a lot of people fail to do and stop them from being the best version of themselves and having powerpreneur mindset.
