Here we sit down with Fawn, to know a bit more about her journey as an entrepreneur.

Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Fawn: It sounds odd to say, but some people are just born with it. I’ve been working multiple jobs and developing internet-based income streams since I was a teenager.

Mostly, I’ve always just hated the idea of my life revolving around my 9-5. Eventually, I merged my personal interests in skincare and biohacking with my entrepreneurial drive to start two companies: Skincare Stacy and biöm.

Q. What’s one thing in your routine that you do consistently that has made a huge difference in your personal or business life?

Fawn: I prioritize exercise over (almost) anything else. I never skip an opportunity to run, lift, or otherwise get moving because I know it makes me a better entrepreneur.

You can summarize my ethos with this famous proverb: “make civil the mind and savage the body”.

Q. Who are your mentors and inspiration? and what knowledge or insight did they give to you that was valuable?

Fawn: Alex Feinberg (you can find him on Twitter at @alexfeinberg1) is the closest person I have to a mentor.

He showed me how to hone my natural talents to forge a path out of corporate America through entrepreneurship.

Most importantly, I learned that it’s possible for anyone to start a business…but most people don’t know how to stay in the game when it gets tough. That’s what separates the winners from the rest of the pack.

Q. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Fawn: Hitting my first $10k day. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long, long time.

Most people say the 1st dollar is always your favorite, but I’ve been working on WiFi money through different avenues for the better part of a decade. So I don’t remember the first dollar.

But man…I’m damn sure never going to forget that first $10k day.

Q. How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?

Fawn: Between my partner (@BowTiedGatorDDS) and I, we have a fairly large following for our personal care brand, biöm.

Social media is incredible because it literally turns the knowledge you already have into a natural funnel. For perhaps the first time (I don’t know, I’m not a marketer, just a cartoon deer!), the content itself is king.

I’ve also accumulated traffic through other social media channels and am slowly developing my digital real estate empire thanks to @BowTiedOpossum.

Q. What has been your biggest failures or challenges?

Fawn: The biggest challenge is just trying to do everything and still get enough sleep. There’s so much I want to do and not enough hours in the day because I just always, always, always want more. I’d say I’ve done quite well for myself so far though!

Q. How did this failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Fawn: I’ve yet to hit a real failure but learning to juggle all of my businesses, my relationships, and my other endeavors have given me opportunities to “trim the fat”.

There were so many things I didn’t realize I was doing before that didn’t serve me.

So it’s been easier to identify and prioritize the relationships that really matter to me, and in turn, this has given me a great sense of personal satisfaction.

Q. If someone was to create a TV show about you, what would it be about and what would it be called?

Fawn: Maaaan, they already did. Wonder Woman, ya dig?
