Here we sit down with Jeremy, to know a bit more about his journey as a marketing agency owner.

Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Jeremy: Back when I was getting started my father was a factory worker and my mother was a babysitter at the time, I never went to college. Right after getting out of high school, I went straight into sales working for DirectTV selling their services in Walmart, Best Buy, Menards, and eventually Costco.

That enabled me to leave Ohio where I grew up and move out to Denver, CO where I switched to selling phones at Costco which paid slightly better. After a year of people telling me I talked too fast, I decided to move down to Miami FL where I’ve lived since 2013. I had accidentally moved to the hood because I didn’t have enough money at the time to travel down and see where I was moving first. It took me about 14 months to escape the hood and move into a nicer apartment closer to the beach while selling phones.

I eventually was offered my first marketing job where I helped a man named Peter sell an LED distribution franchise, this is where I got all of my first marketing skills.

Peter came to me one day and said he was going to shut down the business and that pushed me to list my new skills in a resume on indeed.com where I was recruited by a sales trainer named Grant who helped me as my first mentor. He enabled me to take all of my new marketing skills to the next level by enabling me to spend more on his company’s behalf than my previous marketing job which validated my skills to an entirely new level.

Eventually, my income was capped at $10k/mo and that forced me to think about what I could do entrepreneurially to earn more. That’s when I quit my job and ventured out into the world to start my own marketing agency.

8 years ongoing later I’ve made millions of dollars and have helped thousands of clients around the world scale their businesses.

Q. How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?

Jeremy: Video pitches.

Q. What has been your most satisfying moment in business, and why?

Jeremy: Used to make our clients 6 or 7 figures monthly and only charge a flat fee of $8k-$25k/mo and now we average $80k per month in our average deals from adding net rev shares to our deals which enabled me to have significantly better quality of life compared to the flat fee model of running a marketing agency.

Q. Where do you see the future in your niche/industry 3-5 years from now?

Jeremy: A lot of AI tool integration to make everyone faster, more efficient and more effective at what they do.

Q. What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?

Jeremy: Overfunded whole life insurance policies, section 8 real estate and myself more than anything.

Q. Which social media platform are you most bull-ish on in 2023, and why?

Jeremy: Instagram, making a big comeback and has a chip in its shoulder to crush TikTok.

Q. What business-related book has inspired you the most? Or, What is your favourite book?

Jeremy: On power by Gene Simmons, raw unfiltered truth from the man you’d least expect it from.

Q. What is your ‘one-sentence’ piece of advice you’d like to give to someone who is just embarking on their entrepreneurial journey?

Jeremy: You don’t know what you don’t know, and that can hurt you.
