Here we sit down with Taylor to know a bit more about her journey as an entrepreneur.

Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Taylor: Taylor Victoria is a passionate entrepreneur, 7-figure agency owner, travel lover, and unshakable optimist that is on a mission to create a global movement aimed at helping you create an extraordinary life!

She started on her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 22, after finishing a degree in Communications and Advertising. She took a huge risk by moving to Bali to go all-in on her business when she only had 1 client.

Since then, she has started multiple companies and now runs Level Up Outsourcing, an outsourcing agency pairing International business owners with VAs in the Philippines to save time and increase profitability.

Q. What’s one thing in your routine that you do consistently that has made a huge difference in your personal or business life?

Taylor: Looking after my physical health has always been my #1 priority. I start my day with a HIIT workout or beach walk. I’ve found that if I don’t move my body every day and eat healthy food, I have no energy and can’t concentrate when working on the business.

If you have the discipline to look after your body, you will have the same for growing your business!

Q. Who are your mentors and inspiration? And what knowledge or insight did they give to you that was valuable?

Taylor: I don’t necessarily have 1 mentor that is my main inspiration. I have had different mentors at different stages of my business journey that have taught me different lessons.

Starting out it was Joel Brown and Emile Steenveld, they taught me the power of working on your mindset and personal development.

Then it was Gary Vee, he taught me the power of patience, the hard work required to build an international empire of a business, and the importance of empathy in business.

Currently, it’s Alex Hormozi. The main lessons I have learned from him are the necessity of building a ‘grand slam’ offer and being laser focused with my attention.

Q. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Taylor: Being nominated as a Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2022 and also winning the Business Xcellence award in 2022.

Q. How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?

Taylor: We have so many strategies we use… Paid ads, SEO, content marketing, LinkedIn lead generation, cold email campaigns, cold calling. We are constantly testing new and innovative strategies to bring new clients to us.

Q. What have been your biggest failures or challenges?

Taylor: My biggest challenge (but also my biggest strength) is that I am a creative/visionary business owner. I find data, numbers and analytics hard. But it’s something that I am consistently working on to understand better, as I know it’s 100% necessary when building a business. We have had a few hiccups along the way but I always learn from them and adapt.

Q. How did this failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Taylor: I am actively working on developing my skills in those areas. Before I thought I could just outsource it, but now I know I need to have the understanding and knowledge myself because it’s my business.

Q. If someone was to create a TV show about you, what would it be about, and what would it be called?

Taylor: It would be a remake of my life from when I finished uni until now. The journey and self-learning have been wild! It would be called ‘The Journey to Become Extraordinary’ as I consistently strive for that.
