Think long and hard about the last time you’ve seen an artist with a unique sound in hip hop. It’s been a while right? In a time where so many artists are emerging, it’s difficult to stand out from the pack. Due to oversaturation, there’s a good chance lots of music will begin to sound alike. However, this artist from Miami Florida, understands its all about marketing, and having a good product. Once you have a good product in this case being the music and the visuals, you’re already halfway to success. The other half is getting the music to the right people. James grew up in some tough neighbors, and was raised mainly by his grandmother. She kept him indoors most of the time so he wouldn’t become a product of his environment. James also attended middle school with “Yung Miami” of the ‘City Girls’. He also was exposed to a lot of legendary artists before his time. This inspired him to create his own sound in music. His plan is to change the game.
Starting out, James has released several Mixtapes, EPs and full length albums. After changing his stage name to what it is now, he released 12 Music Videos and 3 documentaries in just 11 months. This is what it means to be an artist as hard work is required to break out or simply get to the next level. Due to his consistency, it also granted him the opportunity to be featured on a few Radio Shows and Podcast interviews. One of which being DJ Smallz Eyes up in Atlanta, Georgia. He also has an upcoming project titled “Elements of Life” with Miami Producer ‘Richy B’. He believes there needs to be a shift in the Rap Genre. We feel if he continues to make great music, he could very well be one the leading faces in the Rap game for a very long time.
