Here we sit down with Layla, to know a bit more about her journey as an entrepreneur.

Q. Tell us a little more about your journey as an entrepreneur – how did you get started? What inspired you?

Layla: My greatest inspiration has always been the question: how can I reach my maximum potential to do something extraordinary with my one-&-only precious life?

From a young age, I knew I came here to build something unique & create massive change.
As I grew up and saw what was happening in the world, I realized the best way to make a real impact was through the world of business. Because consumer behavior ends up shaping the socio-economic reality of any society.

In 2011, fresh out of college, I left my job & my life altogether to go on an adventure around the globe to learn everything I could about human potential, leadership & change.

I spent a decade & over half a million dollars in studies, training & certifications in several countries between North America & Southeast Asia.

From ancient traditions such as Taoism & Tantra, I learned how to quiet the mind, activate the body & naturally bio-hack one’s human potential.

Cutting-edge research in fields such as Somatic Therapy, NLP, Neurobiology and consciousness gave me access to understanding the bridge between who we are and what we are here to do individually.

That’s when I started my career as a Transformational Coach helping thousands of women naturally activate their feminine potential.

In the last half-decade, I studied & worked with experts in the vast field of business, from branding, marketing & sales to systems, team culture & leadership.

My digital-nomad lifestyle prompted me to meet extraordinary Founders of companies that are revolutionizing the way we do business & the impact we generate in the world.

They inspired me to expand my business to help women who had already found their true power to now step into leadership & launch their business.

At the beginning of the pandemic, my business boomed & naturally started to scale with bigger & bigger groups of women.

Now is the best time in history to make a real difference through one’s legacy by building a business.

Q. What’s one thing in your routine that you do consistently that has made a huge difference in your personal or business life?

Layla: I walk my talk. All day, every day.

I practice what I preach. I am in a constant & conscious relationship with my body, my female hormonal system, my neuro-biology & the state of my consciousness. Through my practices & habits.

It’s not a matter of what “trick” works. It’s a matter of how you can live to your fullest potential in every action.

Then life becomes an adventure worth thriving at!

Q. Who are your mentors and inspiration? and what knowledge or insight did they give to you that was valuable?

Layla: I will need several pages to list all my mentors. It takes a village to raise a Leader. I was blessed to have the village very inspired to help me.

Since young adults around me saw my potential and kept reminding me: You have potential young lady. This in itself was my greatest insight. I grew up knowing I was worth it. And so I became it. On that note, I will cite my parents as the greatest mentors.

Followed by a couple of Masters from the eastern traditions who taught me wisdom more than 5.000 years old. Which is the stuff you don’t get in college.

In the business arena, my greatest mentor today is my partner. He runs a multimillion-dollar Marketing Agency with one of the greatest vision statements of all time: Business with Integrity. Why now is the time to do business differently.

Q. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Layla: Every time I see one of my clients become successful in her business, I feel immensely satisfied.

I feel the ripple effect of my work when I see the people they touch through their business & the impact & abundance they create.

Q. How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?

Layla: My success does not strive in tactics. It’s based on authenticity & truth.

What I teach works. The result speaks for themselves.

The problem with marketing tactics is that they produce copies, uninspiring replicas of the same empty structures.

I don’t want to add to the noise.

I refuse to become “another coach.”

And I teach my women to build & market their businesses the same way. That’s why I call it the feminine way. Because it’s a model base on creating resonance & empathy with your audience in an authentic way that generates trust & willingly given attention. This way, we don’t even need to sell. That part is done by the client who feels resonance & comes to ask, “How can I work with you?”

Q. What has been your biggest failures or challenges?

Layla: Being a pioneer is something that brings challenges with it. When I first started speaking about feminine leadership, there was not much being said in the field & it was a challenging concept to explain.

I struggled with this and had to find intelligent ways to explain “the feminine way” and why it can change a leader’s life if he/she implements this leadership.

Q. How did this failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Layla: This challenge keeps me on my toes with my message. Constantly learning where the general culture is at in our collective understanding of polarity & how I can slowly introduce all the wisdom I learned in my earlier years from thousands of years old traditions that today feel too advanced for us.

Our society has suffered a recession when it comes to maturity & awareness of human nature, which can make it hard for concepts like this to be fully grasped. But that’s a topic for another interview!

Q. If someone was to create a TV show about you, what would it be about and what would it be called?

Layla: It will be called Women Wisdom – and it will be about all the wisdom from all fields & all traditions that have been forgotten, suppressed, or denied. All the techniques & tools that are available for women to reach their potential and step into powerful leadership.

Like an X-Men academy for mutant women!!!
