Insights into Anton’s career as a security specialist

Casino security personnel are tasked with protecting the well-being of customers and staff inside the establishments they patrol. They are responsible for monitoring the goings-on on the floor, looking for indications of potentially suspicious conduct, and responding to any emergency. The security agents working in casinos need to think clearly and swiftly under intense pressure. They may also be required to execute additional activities, such as conducting investigations into allegations of theft or fraud, addressing concerns about crowd management, or assisting with providing emergency medical services when required. 2015 was the year when Anton started his new job as a security officer at a casino in Stateline, Nevada. When first recruited, he was a casino security officer at the Montbleu Resort Casino & Spa. The following year, in 2016, he began working at Harrah’s/Lake Harvey’s Tahoe, which was situated just across the street and was owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. It was a step in the right direction for him to take a job in security since he was working toward a career in law enforcement and his ultimate aim was to become a police officer. Before he began his employment in an official capacity, he went through formal education in safety and law enforcement.
