How Horizon Uplift The Hip Hop Music Industry With His Songs

Horizon is an independent artist gradually branding himself as an established hip hop artist. Fortunate to collaborate with Dwayne “Soulhop” Golson and Alvin “Funkghost” Harris to create an ear catchy remix single.

He got started in music in elementary school trying out various instruments such as the Trumpet, Flute, and Keyboard. None of which he mastered. He gradually became addicted to music videos Yo! MTV Raps and Rap City. Listening to regular and underground radio stations that played hip hop music. The love for it grew in him so much he began pushing himself to write rhymes. And sometimes record himself by using instrumentals and tape decks. His very first performance was a simple show in an auditorium in front of elementary school mates late 80’s and early 90’s.

Important influences that attracted his ears  through the beats, lyrics, entertainment or business branding were artist such as Whodini, LL Cool J, Roxanne Shante, Eric B & Rakim, Run DMC, Big Daddy Kane, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, EPMD, Black Sheep, Poor Righteous Teachers, Digital Underground, Audio Two, Naughty By Nature, Leaders of the New School, Ice T, Tribe Called Quest, Heavy D, Main Source, Boogie Down Productions, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Special Ed, MC Lyte, Marly Marl, Tupac, Ghetto Boys, Rob Base, Common Sense, Wu Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Brand Nubians, and many others.

The very first professional video of Horizon was a song called “Gifted” that was released in 2015 recorded in TokMusic Studio.

Horizon’s second professional video is “Shine Beyond Remix” feat. Funkghost in 2022 produced by Soulhop and recorded in Deep Productions Recording Studio.

His ultimate goal is to win as many awards as possible, specifically a songwriter award. And to have at least one song go Gold or Platinum, ranking somewhere on the charts.
