From Pageant Queen to Top Model – Mischaela Elkins

Everyone wants to make a difference in the world by doing something they are passionate about. Mischaela Elkins accomplished this by kickstarting her fashion modeling career as a teenager and then becoming Ms. Universe and representing her country on the international stage. This is how she did it.

Mischaela’s Journey

She is not only a fantastic model, but also a smart student. Elkins earned her Bachelor of BusinessAdministration in the United States and her MBA in Spain while balancing her modeling career. This is what we call a beauty with brains.

She took advantage of model development resources early on in her career. She first enrolled with the Lucie Clayton College model etiquette, carriage, and deportment course taught by Alexanda Messervy. Notable alumni include supermodel Jean Shrimpton and other British top models. Messervy was also a former event and planning staff member in Her Majesty the Queen’s Household. Additionally, she was developed in many areas of the business and commercial aspects of modeling through Barcino Management’s “Model Academy” in Spain.

Mischaela was trained on the runway by Mandy Dyonne, a runway and modeling instructor for Elite, IMG, NEXT, The Society, and other major worldwide agencies. Mandy has trained for Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Fendi, and Prada runways, as well as mentored several Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway models and for Elite Model Look.

Mischaela also attended the Coco Rocha Model Camp, which was founded by supermodel Coco Rocha. The supermodel hand-picked her to attend the camp to polish and improve her camera work for print with the “queen of posing.”

Why Should You Follow Her Journey?

People should learn more about her since she has an interesting tale of someone who pursued her aspirations. It was challenging to break into the industry as a mixed-race Native American youngster. A modeling career that began in 2009 when she ventured to enter a New Faces modeling competition with Elite Models. She was one of three models out of 300+ to obtain a callback, and she continued to grow her career by careful choices and a lot of hard work. She put her salary towards her studies – advancing her modeling portfolio at the same time she grew her business acumen.

Mischaela rose from small-town Indiana to Chicago, the runways of New York and Paris, and the pages of magazines all over the world. All because she refused to accept “no” for an answer. She had always wanted to accomplish something and be her own person.

She has written books about her journey through which she is inspiring other young women – Breathwork at Tiffany’s, Workin for A Birkin, and Red Bottoms & Rose Quartz. She is helping women to heal their intuition and break free from all the comments that bring them down. Mischaela’s path proves that authenticity and resilience can take you to the places that you’re meant to be, if you just put in the hard work and stay tenacious despite many rejections, no’s, and redirections. To be at the top of your industry, you must become as strong and resilient as Mischaela Elkins!
