From Invisible Scars to Visible Healing

The old adage that time heals all wounds is certainly true but to an extent. Time is definitely an important factor when it comes to healing, taking away some of the pain, sorrow, or other negative emotions immediately experienced after a traumatic event. Time on its own, however, is not a healer. It is how we use that time that truly heals our wounds. Everyone heals at their own pace and through their own methods, though there may be times we may need to seek outside help to let go.

Beginning his own journey in a state of confusion, Jimmie L. Lucas pushed through to pursue his calling in helping others visibly heal from their invisible scars. “After more than 19 years of military service, I learned that service before self is what not only being a true coach is, but how I wanted to live the rest of my life,” says Jimmie. “I knew for a long time that helping others is what I wanted to do, but my life being in unexpected turmoil had me seriously questioning whether I was suited to this path.” Healing

Undergoing a bad break-up, leaving the military, and moving to an entirely new state whilst trying to navigate being a single parent of a teenage son left Jimmie in a very confused and questionable state of emotional being. Like many of us who have had our lives suddenly upended, Jimmie asked questions such as, Why would people hire me? What if I can’t help? What if I end up making things worse? This pattern of self-doubt and self-sabotage is all too common, and realizing this, Jimmie sought to learn the tools he needed to break free of this vicious cycle and help others too. Healing

After undergoing specialized training to re-frame his mindset, Jimmie now serves as a behavioral transition coach with qualifications in Time Line Therapy™, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Practitioner Hypnotherapy, and is certified as a Master Resilience Trainer, and Assisted Suicide Intervention Trainer. Seeking to aid others in changing their mindset from ‘existing through life’ to ‘living life,’ Jimmie founded Unequaled Lifestyle as a place for those to seek a safe haven as they heal from the traumas in their own lives.  Healing

No one is exempted from experiencing loss, grief, or trauma. At some point in their life, everyone experiences some sort of mental fatigue, emotional exhaustion, and internal sadness. But that doesn’t mean it’s something to battle through on your own. For Jimmie, committing to a healthier lifestyle is just that – a commitment. “Committing yourself to transform your life for the better takes a lot of dedication,” he says.  “If this is something you truly want, then my commitment to you is to continually provide you with accountability, understanding, and support on your journey.” Healing
