Here we sit down with Nick, to know a bit more about his journey as an entrepreneur.

Q. What inspired Nick to become an entrepreneur?

Nick: In my early years I always wanted to start a publishing company. I set out a goal and achieved it. Ran a publishing company for 10 Years published 4 books physically and digitally to critical acclaim through vanity publishing system. Where I helped other creators aspire to their goals, in getting their work published and seen on the mainstage.

Then the market grew and shrinking my share of the pie, and decided it was time to move away as it wasn’t financially stable. I took a break and needed to rediscover who I was and what I wanted from this life and if I started a new business what would it be and how I can help others in the process.

The power of knowledge and transcending it to others  was my true calling. In my 20 plus year career in sales and managing staff. I found a hidden purpose that was always hitting me in the face. I was coaching, and performance managing the staff to help them achieve greatness and make money while doing it. It was getting the best out of them through the use of a proper mindset that really sparked it for them.

A day not coaching is a day wasted in my opinion. If I went home knowing I made a difference in someone’s life I knew I was doing my job.

I still work my day job and run my own consulting firm, where I mentor youth, run workshops, events and provide 1 on 1 coaching.

I have a few words that helped me on this journey.

Allow yourself to be transformed to become the person you want to be. In life and on earth we were put here for a purpose. We all have that one thing we are passionate about. Chase it! You will Impact the world and you will change it.

People have become complacent to strive for anything that is beyond satisfactory or mediocre. Do not settle for less than you are your worth. Education is your guide, your book but sometimes that book must be thrown out the window and let life hit you in the face. Do not be afraid to fail forward. Make Mistakes, learn from them and grow from them to become better and unstoppable. Your time is now, not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, not next year. Plant Your ideas, and harvest them later.

I do not focus on format, I rip the script, it is all about the client, I am here to listen and build a plan that best suits their needs. I build a custom solution that will benefit the client. It is about listening. I love stories about what makes them unique, what sets them apart from everyone else. Each in everyone has that one word ability that is truly unique. It is time to unlock your true potential and Ignite Your legacy and Find the Boom inside you.

Q. How did Nick get started?

Nick: I started in 2017, when I decided my passion was always about helping others, while using my personal stories and experience as a way to relate and connect with my audience.

I have decided that throughout my career in retail management I was coaching associates and staff daily, holding them accountable to results, but mentoring them to become better versions of themselves.

Teaching, Delegating, Following Up, and Celebrating was a big mantra I followed.

It was a natural progression to coaching, and helping others create an Impact in this world of something they were truly passionate about.

I have aligned myself with multiple Non-Profit agencies to provide mentorship to the Youth, New Immigrants, New Business Startups and being an advocate for Mindset, and depression.

I have recently become a Master Certified Coach in Mindset, Transformation and Life Coaching.

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Nick: Mindset and Depression.

It’s not something I like to vocalize a lot but I have become more comfortable while helping others go through it because it is possible to overcome and achieve greatness, it’s how we program our mind to react differently and while surrounding ourselves with people who don’t put us down those dark paths but those who challenge us to be better.

Happiness and doing the things you love while serving others is a true accomplishment in itself and very rewarding.

Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing Did Nick Done Since he Started your Business?

Nick: Since launching my business I have had the pleasure of becoming a Triple Master Certified Coach.

I have mentored numerous immigrants who were looking for work in Canada.

I had the privilege of working with over 7 different agencies to help impact and coach the youth and job hunters. In doing created and hosted multiple live events.

Created and deployed multiple mentorship programs across retail stores in Canada.

I have been able to achieve these parting gifts with anyone attending a session of mine, it is my goal and strive very hard to ensure these are met.

You will become: Self-motivated, have a positive influence, be goal oriented and decisive.

You will develop: A positive personality, have a clear vision of where you want to be and grow.

You will learn to: Increase results at work, achieve your goals, keep a positive attitude, remain motivated, control stress and tension, eliminate negative thinking and become a leader in your field of work.

Learn to reach your potential and let your passion dictate your future.

Communicate effectively in a new transformation that surrounds and supports your lifestyle.

Impact others in your everyday life by being yourself and inspiring those most important around you.

Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?

Nick: Built to Serve by Evan Carmichael. Find Your Purpose and Become the Leader You Were Born to Be. Is not just a statement, it’s a fact. After reading his book it helped me realize more about myself, and what my true purpose in life was about and that was to help as many people as I can in a positive way.

Whether it was at work, at home, at a workshop, at a speaking event, or mentoring through various agencies that I’m a part of. I knew I had value to give back to the world and the book just literally helped me unlock that power that was hiding inside me.

Q. What are your top 3 favourite online apps, tools, or resources and what do you love about them?

Nick: That’s a tough one as they change from month to month. Currently I’m using the following:

LinkedIn- Connecting with link minded people and surrounding myself with positive people who are also making a difference.

Clubhouse- Sharing thoughts, wisdom with others in the world, connecting with some of my favorite coaches and mentors. Listening to others speak and get guidance and experience.

Product Hunt- I love finding the best new hidden apps, that are indie and non mainstream. That way I can support the dreams of the developers.

Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Nick: I want to Impact people so they can Impact others.

My Message:

Do not become M.I.A. is a phrase that I have followed with me at every career I have progressed to.

Mentality – Is the first key to anything you want to build and create. It’s all about having the right mindset, right vision, right ideas and right imagination.

Integrity – The second key aspect to building your business or sales culture. Is to have a unified vision across the board; building a brand that you value and that you are passionate about.

Accountability – Is the final Key aspect to building your business or sales culture. Always be responsible for your mistakes. Do not be afraid to fail forward. It is how we learn and grow our skills and further ourselves.

Thinking outside the box, driving yourself out of your comfort zone. Allowing yourself to commit to the universe and using your imagination to the fullest potential.

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey

Nick: Perseverance. Resiliency. Think Positive. Move Forward, I know it’s hard out there especially if you lost your job, just keep planting those ideas, resumes, projects eventually one will blossom and bloom when you least expect it.

When you make sure to take full advantage and go after your dreams and do not let anyone or anything hold you back from that very aspect that drives you forward.

Trust the person you look in the mirror every morning. They are your trusted advisor in life. Do not break that bond. They will support you through anything and everything. Do not let that voice in your head bring you down. It should be your biggest supporter!
