Q. What inspired Louise to become an entrepreneur?

Louise: Louise struggled with illness & poor athletic performance in her youth. She was dedicated to learning the science of the human body so she could feel & perform her best. It was after going from last to cross the finish line to first & successfully reversing two “chronic” health diagnoses doctors told her there was nothing she could do about, that Louise knew she wanted to empower others to turn their setbacks into a badass comeback! Her career has been dedicated to empowering others with simple & realistic strategies to live a vibrant, healthy & high-performance life!

Q. How did Louise get started?

Louise: Louise’s career started as a sports massage therapist & Physiologist for the NFL. After spending 5 years in the league, she began a dynamic career as a military spouse who relocated frequently. She has since worked throughout the health & fitness industry, collaborating with other medical professionals, publishing research & designing wellness solutions for communities & companies throughout the U.S.

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Louise: My biggest challenge as an entrepreneur is that I tend to want to hustle all day every day. However, I know that it’s when I take time for self-care & to root my business strategies in simple, focused actions, that I am most successful & can be as vibrantly well as the clients I support!

Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing did Louise Done Since she Started her Business?

Louise: I am so proud of the incredible success of the runners & wellness warriors in my health & performance academy! I work with individuals who are dedicated to coming back from stress & setbacks stronger than ever, some of which are facing very challenging circumstances like health diagnoses & high-stress life events. The fact they are right alongside me, putting in the work to feel, run & live their very best, helps me to stay inspired as a coach & athlete!

Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?

Louise: I love the book Peak by Dr. Marc Bubbs. It is one of the most comprehensive & up-to-date resources on health & human performance I’ve ever read. It’s a go-to tool that has been instrumental in my own success in meeting personal health & performance goals.

Q. What are your top 3 favourite online apps, tools, or resources and what do you love about them?

Louise: My favorite online resource is Kajabi. I enjoy an all-in-one simple solution for my business, and it allows me to keep things focused & aligned while providing an excellent client experience. I’m also a huge Google Drive fan for organizing my entire business & Airtable for managing a CRM.

Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Louise: I want to empower others to relentlessly believe in themselves & the incredible potential of their body to do great things.

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?
