Here we sit down with Myrra, to know a bit more about her journey as an online course creator and strategist.

Q. What inspired Myrra to become an entrepreneur?

Myrra: I see entrepreneurship as a platform for me to become God’s steward of His love, light, and grace in this world and as a way for me to use my gifts, passions, knowledge, and skills to help other people and represent Jesus in the marketplace. I’d never really dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur when I was a child, but for some reason, I was led to become one. I believe it’s God’s leading for me to fulfill my purpose to help people build a life of purpose, freedom, and impact.

Q. How did Myrra get started?

Myrra: As I said, when I was a child, I never dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur. I took my degree in BS Development Communication in one of the top universities in our country because I thought I was on my way to becoming a journalist or writer. It turns out God has a different plan. A year before I graduate, I went on an exchange student program in Italy. I realized then how much of the world there is to explore and how much I was keeping myself in my own comfort zone. I had a blog during that time that I used as my personal diary. I didn’t know then that I could monetize it and that it would eventually pave the path to where I am now. Long story short, I monetized my blog by creating and selling my own online course. I became a blogging coach for a few months and pivoted to becoming an online course strategist. Since then, I have served and equipped a lot of women, ranging from coaches, entrepreneurs, service providers, and authors, to create profitable and transformational online courses that allow them to build a sustainable income stream that doesn’t compromise their time and provides more freedom in their lives.

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Myrra: The biggest challenge for me was the fact that I was grappling with a lot of fears – some of those are fear of other people’s criticism and fear that I don’t know or am enough (imposter syndrome). I was held back by these fears from many opportunities until I eventually learned how to let go and let God. I surrendered my fears to Jesus and realized that I could never do this all on my own, but with Him, I am stronger. Little did I know, that surrender was all God was waiting for, for Him to release the breakthrough He has for me. He did a lot of miracles in my life since then – multiplied my income, wrote a book, and most importantly, gave and sowed more to many people, charities, and organizations.

Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing did Myrra Done Since she Started your Business?

Myrra: Writing and releasing my book, Faith Steps: Overcoming the Biggest Roadblocks to True Success as a 20-Something, is the most memorable thing so far. God gave this assignment to me in February 2021. At first, I was hesitant because I had all the fears and doubts in my mind, but thank God I obeyed. Not even eight months after, I was able to finish writing it and self-published it successfully. In all honesty? Looking back now, it was all God. I couldn’t have done it without His guidance and wisdom. This book is available on Amazon and in faithsteps.co. Now, this book has impacted several lives and encouraged and equipped them to consistently choose faith over fear.

Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?

Myrra: I’d recommend Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren! My Mom had me read this when I was a teenager and I believe it’s one of the books that helped hone who I am now and the decisions I took in life. I’ve read it thrice now, I believe, and it never ages (just like the book it’s based on which is the Bible).

Q. What are your top 3 favourite online apps, tools, or resources and what do you love about them?

Myrra: My top 3 resources are

Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Myrra: I love this question. I think about this almost every night, because you know? Life is indeed short. At the end of my life, I pray that I’ve lived the life God called me to live, a life that glorified and magnified Him. I want people to remember me as the woman who served God and His Kingdom in her generation through her actions, words, books, business, and life. I pray that I brought light into this world, and made it a little brighter than what it was when I was born.

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?

Myrra: Hang on and just keep believing. If God called you to become an entrepreneur, do it. Follow His instructions and keep seeking Him. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is let go of trying to control everything and instead, surrender. Let go and let God. Stop comparing yourself to others as well. Take life at your own pace and time. God’s timing is always perfect.
