Carla Winston California – How to incorporate fitness into your busy lifestyle

Incorporating health and fitness into an already busy lifestyle can be daunting, especially if you have a lot on-the-go and a big family. For Carla Winston, however, it’s something that’s not only accomplishable but fulfilling too.

Carla Winston has well over 40,000 followers on her Instagram at @Carla.Rubirose, where she shares updates about her fitness journey as well as tips and tricks. She has especially enjoyed helping people with advice surrounding healthy aging and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

One of the greatest motivating factors for Carla Winston to start her fitness page was the aches and pains that came along with aging. As she got older, she found that it was becoming more difficult to do everyday tasks like walk up the stairs and carry groceries.

“My elbows would hurt when I carried the groceries,” recalls Winston.

While Carla Winston says some aches and pains come with the territory of getting older, the truth is that many of the plains people assume are typical, are actually fixable. We can choose not to live with pain, and we can choose to have an active lifestyle that keeps us strong and healthy.

Winson and her family are heavily active, and they wake up between the hours of 4:30 to 5:00 a.m. by prioritizing the food they put into their bodies, managing sleep and staying active, everyone keeps each other accountable. That is the type of lifestyle that Carla Winston wants people to follow and live by.

“My husband is a world renowned international basketball coach and trainer,” says Winston.

“He’s been all over the country to Saugio Arabia, Guatemala, the Philippines and several other countries abroad, developing players.”

Winston says that as her family is active, it’s not difficult maintaining an active lifestyle even though it is always busy. That’s where she recommends people begin – simply at home and with their families, get up and get moving.

In Carla Winston’s mind, you don’t need to do a 45-minute workout session on a daily basis to be a healthy person. You just have to incorporate more movement and some resistance training in your everyday routine. It can be as simple as hiking with your grandchildren or going on a walk.

The Baylor College of Medicine has a few tips for people who want to incorporate more fitness into their busy lifestyles: using the stairs instead of the elevator, parking further away from your destination and walking or biking to your workplace can all help you incorporate more exercise into your daily routine.

Tracking the steps you take every day and being in competition with yourself is also a great idea if you want to have a healthier and more active lifestyle.

By following these steps, eating a healthy diet and getting enough sleep, your family can be on the path to better health.
