Asmaa Hammad Proves you can Pursue Your Dreams No Matter the Obstacles

Asmaa Hammad, your future Health and Life Coach, has pushed through the obstacles to become the version of herself that she always dreamed of.

One of people’s biggest fears is to reach the end of the line not having accomplished everything they expected. We go through life dreaming of all the things we could, versions of ourselves we could become, homes we could own, and career paths we could follow. But the truth is that not many of us dare to pursue our dreams and change our lives. Not many of us get to look back and be proud of what we have achieved throughout the years. Asmaa Hammad, your future Health and Life Coach, has pushed through the obstacles to become the version of herself that she always dreamed of.

Asmaa Hammad was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and raised in Houston, Texas. In 2009, she graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Communication. Her desire to become better and expand her knowledge encouraged her to get her Master of Public Health, graduating in 2013. Years later, she would come to realize her calling was elsewhere.

Before putting her degrees to work, Asmaa helped her father’s business. She did payroll and corporation taxes for him and his clients. But in 2016, she changed career paths and focused on a role that would allow her to put her experience to practice and expand her knowledge. She began working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

While finding a balance between being a student, graduating, working full-time, and being a mom, Asmaa Hammad was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s (an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the thyroid), Lipedema, Lymphedema, hormonal imbalances, H. Pylori, and adrenal fatigue. Facing these new challenges made her realize she was not fulfilled in her professional career. There was something she was missing. Thinking back on her life, she says, “being a Health and Life Coach has been my calling for a while, but I never pursued it because I didn’t think I could be of value at the time.”

2020 changed everyone’s perspective, and it gave Hammad a nudge in the right direction to finally make her dreams come true. Last July, she enrolled at the Institute of Transformational Nutrition to become a Certified Health and Life Coach. She received her Life Coaching Certification a few weeks ago and is now a Certified Life Coach and will focus on empowering women with Autoimmune diseases and Lymphatic disorders. “I decided to focus on these particular diseases because I have suffered from both conditions since I was a child and doctors dismissed me for many years.  This is a common complaint from the Autoimmune and Lymphatic community.  I want to bring a safe space for these women and let them know that they’re not alone.”

Hammad believes her personal experiences and her professional knowledge will help her connect with her future clients on a deeper level. She wants her coaching approach to help clients feel they can relate to her and come out with the tools they need to not let their past affect their future. This future Health and Life Coach is ready to help others change the world.

There are times in our life when we feel we cannot overcome the obstacles we are facing, and we feel stuck in challenging situations. That is normal. We all struggle, but the best we can do is keep moving forward. Asmaa Hammad is the perfect example of resilience. She has overcome her health obstacles and moved on to pursue her dreams.

If you want to work with Hammad, she is currently taking clients through her LLC – Curvaceous, Fit, and Fabulous Health and Wellness or through her email asmaa@curvaceousfitandfabulous.com.
