Inna Mel is a dating and relationship coach who helps single successful women regain confidence and clarity to attract quality, relationship-minded men. Her personal struggles have been the driving force that inspired her to become a coach. Inna’s mission as a coach is to give women the tools they need to free themselves emotionally, embrace themselves as powerful beings who are indeed capable and deserving of experiencing love, of help them regain control over their minds and love life.

For more details, visit their website here.

Here we sit down with Inna, to know a bit more about her journey as a relationship coach.

Q. What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Inna: My personal struggles have been the driving force that inspired me to become a relationship coach. Working through my own personal experiences, freeing myself from toxic and unhealthy relationships motivated me to start helping other women who were in the same boat as me. I was also lucky enough to have amazing friends who were already entrepreneurs creating an impact in the community who were an inspiration for me during the process of figuring out my purpose and calling.

Q. How did you get started?

Inna: I always knew I had a bigger purpose and was passionate in helping people. Plus being so intrigued by the dynamics of relationships, together with my own relationship ups and downs helped figure out the direction I wanted to go into.

I was lucky enough to have a mentor early on who helped me figure out what type of research, seminars, classes, programs I needed in order to get started. As many, I wasn’t sure what my niche was and through countless years of learning and practice I was able to figure it out.

Q. What was your biggest startup challenge? What steps did you take to overcome it? What did you learn?

Inna: The hardest part was starting to coach. You can read a million books, take seminars, have mentors but if you stop there then no one will ever know what impact and change you are capable of making. I had to overcome my fear of charging for my services early on, figure out how I chose to manage my time and decide which opportunities to pursue.

Q. What is the Most Memorable Thing You’ve Done Since you Started your Business?

Inna: Through my work, I uncovered my passion for writing and have been writing and contributing to different online magazines.

Q. What is one book you recommend, and why?

Inna: That’s a tough one because I have many.. I would have to say ” The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work” by John Gottman

Q. What are your favourite online apps, tools, or resources and what do you love about them?

Inna: Slack is an app I use which makes it easier to communicate and it integrates with google doc which is great.

I love the Insight Timer for my meditations, I’ve been using the app for years.

Q. In terms of legacy, what is the mark you’d like to leave on the world?

Inna: I’m still writing it..

Q. In one sentence, what’s the best advice you’d give to someone just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey?

Inna: Start before you feel ready, don’t give up, ask for help and guidance, and never stop building meaningful relationships with customers and other people in your industry.
